This Refund Policy applies to all purchases of services and products offered by TCG Doctor (“we”, “us”, “our”) through our websites:

By placing an order with TCG Doctor, you agree to this Refund Policy.


2. Definitions


In this policy:


Services means any restoration, cleaning, repair, preservation, grading preparation, or related services provided by TCG Doctor.

Products means any physical goods sold by TCG Doctor.


Customer, “you” or “your” means the person purchasing services or products.


3. General Refund Principles


Refunds are only provided in accordance with this policy and applicable Australian Consumer Law (“ACL”).


Refunds will not be provided for reasons outside this policy unless required by law.


4. Services – Restoration & Repair


      4.1 No Refund After Work Has Commenced


Once TCG Doctor has commenced work on a card:

  • Service fees are non-refundable;

  • No partial refunds will be issued based on subjective dissatisfaction;

  • No refunds will be issued due to grading outcomes, changes in market value, or differences in aesthetic expectation.

This is because restoration and repair services result in permanent or irreversible changes to the card.


      4.2 Cancellation Prior to Commencement


Refunds may be issued at our discretion if:


The Customer cancels a service before work has commenced; and

No restoration, assessment, handling, or preparatory work has been performed.


In such cases, an administrative processing fee may be retained.


5. Express Services


Express service fees are non-refundable once:

  • The order has been processed internally; or

  • Work has commenced.

Express guarantees relate solely to queue prioritisation and do not constitute guaranteed outcomes.


6. Physical Products


If physical products are sold separate from services:


      6.1 Change of Mind


Change of mind refunds are not available; You are not entitled to a refund if you simply decide against a product you have purchased.


      6.2 Faulty or Incorrect Products


A refund will be issued if:

  • The product is faulty;

  • The product is significantly not as described;

  • An incorrect item was supplied.

To obtain a refund:

  • Contact us within 7 days of delivery;

  • Provide order number, photos and description of the issue.

  • Returned products must be returned in original condition unless the fault prevents this.

  • Return shipping costs may be refunded where required by law.

7. Australian Consumer Law (ACL)


Nothing in this Refund Policy excludes, restricts, or modifies your rights under the ACL.


Under the ACL, you may be entitled to a remedy if:

  • A service is not provided with due care and skill;

  • A service is not fit for purpose;

  • A product is faulty, not as described, or unsafe.

Remedies under the ACL may include a refund, repair, replacement, or compensation where appropriate. If a major failure occurs, you may be entitled to choose a refund.

Refund or ACL remedy requests must be submitted within:


14 days of service completion or delivery of physical products; unless otherwise required by law. Late requests may be declined.
