Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about our professional card restoration services, answered here.
Our card restoration journey began in 2019. Before offering the service to anyone else, we restored more than 400 of our own cards, allowing us to thoroughly test, refine, and develop our techniques firsthand.
What started as a personal hobby and side business—restoring, resubmitting, and selling cards after achieving stronger grades—gradually grew into something much bigger. What began between friends has since developed into a professional restoration service trusted by collectors around the world.

Located in Perth, Australia but we service clients worldwide.
We restore a wide range of trading cards, including Pokémon, One Piece, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Disney, Riftbound, Dragon Ball, and all types of sports cards.
Simply put, if it’s made from trading card stock, there’s a good chance we can restore it.
Generally speaking we can restore creases, dents, edge and corner lifts, holographic scratches and general surface contaminants on cards.
Unfortunately, no. Whitening and paint loss involve missing surface material, which cannot be properly restored without adding foreign material to the card. We can improve many other forms of damage but whitening and paint chips are outside the scope of our restoration services.
Every card is different, so we cannot guarantee a specific grade or grade increase. In our experience, higher-grade cards may achieve a one-grade improvement, while lower-grade cards can sometimes see a greater increase following restoration.
The final outcome depends on the card’s original condition, the type and severity of the damage, and the grading company’s assessment. All cards are evaluated on a case-by-case basis, and because grading is completed by an independent third party, the final grade is entirely outside our control.
In most cases, yes. Any improvement can be worthwhile, whether you plan to submit the card for grading or simply want to preserve it as part of your personal collection.
Restoration can help improve the card’s overall appearance, presentation, and long-term enjoyment, making it a valuable option for both collectors and investors.
Once your order has been placed, you will receive an email containing detailed instructions on how to send your cards to us. Please package your cards carefully and securely to minimise the risk of damage during transit.
We recommend placing each card in a penny sleeve and top loader or semi-rigid holder, then protecting it with sturdy cardboard backing and bubble wrap. Cards should be packed inside a strong cardboard box wherever possible, as we generally recommend avoiding bubble mailers.
Yes, we accept international orders. All return shipments include tracking so you can monitor your parcel throughout its journey.
Please note that any customs duties, import taxes, or additional fees charged by the destination country are the customer’s responsibility.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for any loss, delay, theft, or damage that occurs while items are being transported to us. Customers are responsible for ensuring their cards are packaged securely, and we strongly recommend using a tracked and appropriately insured postal or courier service.
Once a completed order has been securely packaged and handed to the nominated postal or courier provider for return delivery, responsibility for the shipment passes to the customer. All return orders are packaged with reasonable care and sent using a tracked delivery service.
We stand behind the quality of our work and always aim to achieve the best possible result for every card. As each restoration is individually assessed and tailored to the card’s condition, restoration services are non-refundable once work has commenced.
If you are unhappy with the final result, please contact us so we can review your concerns.
Yes. We stand behind the quality of our restoration work. If you are not satisfied with the result, you may return the card to us for further assessment.
We will review the card and the original work completed to determine whether any additional improvements can reasonably be made. Where further refinement is possible, we will discuss the available options with you before proceeding.
Please understand that restoration results vary depending on the card’s original condition, the type and severity of the damage, and the independent standards applied by third-party grading companies. We cannot guarantee a specific grade, but we will always aim to achieve the best possible result through professional techniques and careful handling.
Every restoration is unique, and the timeframe can vary depending on the condition of the card and the complexity of the work required. As each card is assessed and treated individually, it can be difficult to provide an exact completion date.
Due to increased demand and our current workload, the estimated turnaround time for standard, non-express orders is approximately 10 weeks. This is an estimate only and may vary depending on the scope of work required.
Customers can monitor the progress of their order at any time by logging into their account and selecting the Order Tracking tab. This allows you to follow each stage of the restoration process, from receipt through to completion and return shipping.
The Express option moves your order ahead of standard orders in the restoration queue, allowing work on your cards to begin sooner. There may be several Express orders ahead of yours; however, Express orders are prioritised and commenced before standard orders.
To maintain consistency and ensure every card receives the attention it deserves, we limit Express availability to 30 spots per month. Express fast-tracks your position in the queue and the commencement of your restoration, but it does not mean the repair itself will be rushed or completed using a faster process. Every card is restored with the same level of skill, care, and attention, and the work cannot be hurried without compromising the result.
The estimated turnaround time for Express orders is approximately six weeks. This is an estimate only and may vary depending on the complexity and scope of the restoration required.
At this stage, we accept mail-in submissions only, unless your submission contains high-end grails or a large number of cards. These may be considered for an in-person drop-off by prior arrangement ONLY.
In-person submissions require additional time for scheduling, travel, waiting, coordination, and collection. To ensure our time remains focused on completing restorations efficiently, we are currently unable to offer general drop-off and pick-up services.
We are exploring dedicated drop-off locations for the future. For now, mailing your cards directly to us is the fastest and most efficient way to submit your order without any time delay.
Yes. Once your restoration is complete, you can submit your cards for professional grading through us.
We send grading submissions to PSA and BGS once per month. Grading services can be purchased directly through our website when placing your restoration order.
If your restoration is completed after the monthly submission cut-off, your card will be safely held and included with the following month’s grading submission.
Grading submissions will need to be paid for before the last day of each month as this is the cut-off for each month.
